Goofy Mistakes

When i first drew this, i worried it may have been a mistake to have Maxx's arm behind his leg, but i wanted to try something different.

It may have been a goofy mistake, but i'm sorta used to it now.

That line sums up my whole career in a way.

It's all good man. We have seen you evolve and you never would have if you didn't "try something different" I love it!

I love it! It adds more depth. It also adds emphasis to Maxx's gorilla-like pose here. Please never stop.

The Maxx is the manifestation of a good man who doesn't need to be heard or understood but does need to express himself. You draw him how he feels at the time in the panel, it's why I enjoyed the series

I just re-read the last Maxx story from the "Hero" 2014 issue.
The Outback. I think I get it now... The "Outback." The "Out Back." The Subconscious (yes i am aware that's where it is in Julie's head, and others). The back of our focus is where many of us keep it. Out back of our common focus as people. The fact anything can occur depending upon which way we "turn." Right, left, forward, backward. The Outback being that space of the process of existence itself. Almost Tao. Definitely Magick. Very much brings to mind Aleister Crowley, blended with Native American Spirituality, and Shamanism.
Then again...
Wait. Everything's changing. Where the heck am I now?
Aaawwww, no..
We're out of tp...
