Skulldigger Cover
Did this cover for a cool artists named Jeff Lemire. He's got a new Dark Horse comic called Skulldigger & Skeleton Boy coming out.
For no particular reason I added the blue color background digitally,
then I did a different background on the original art.
The color one is the one that got printed, but here's the B&W background just for fun.

Maxx Wildstorm Reprint Cover
Here's a cover that has almost everything in it, regular Maxx, Sarah, Glorie, Gone, Pink Faries, Horse Maxx, a Crabbit, Isz (both kinds), and the "trailer snow globe" from the ending is peaking from behind the picture frame, heck, even a "Twout" on one of the postage stamps . .
. . . kinda like one of those picture puzzles.

Epicurus: Three Goddesses, and something different.
Here I inked Athena and Aphrodite ( Hera's body is on the left, cut off because it's a double page spread) . . . but I tried to ink Aphrodite in an almost defused way, going for a soft focus photograph, using only soft brushstrokes to do it.
Miles away from the hyper detailed style in the first Epicurus book.
Not sure if it really worked or not, but worth
trying something different.

Dr Strange, in various sizes.
I've always enjoyed drawing Dr. Strange.
I discovered him during my teens in those little 4 x 7 inch pocket books Marvel published in the 70s.
The smaller size really leant itself to Ditko's bold style of artwork
The only other exposure I had to Dr Strange was those oversized Marvel Treasury Editions.
So for me, Dr. Strange was either
incredibly huge,
or very tiny.

Wolvie page from MCP
You probably remember this one, but here's something you may not know: Ever wonder why his tights are so whiter on the original art? It's white paint which I added to cover up lots of brushwork and lines on his leg.
It may surprise you I actually *removed* line-work, but it's because all that detail distracted from the phone cords trailing down his thigh.
Now the cords *pop* even more, esp. against the white paint.
Sometimes less really is more.
