The original art for this cover had a white background, but I removed the maxx logo and darkened the background digitally. I dunno... maybe it looks better that way.

IDW decided to collect the first three issues of Batman v Maxx into one volume, just  to refresh everyone's memories since  4 & 5 were so late. (yes they are all finished and being colored right now).

Here's the inked cover, Maxx and Bats sitting around waiting for me to finish drawing the last two issues.

This was used in the MTV animated series, but never printed in the Maxx comic.

It's one of my favs.

It's really big, the full art is about three feet wide and over a foot tall.

Maybe it'll get printed someday, who knows?
