Luckily I scanned it before destroying it.

'Joker - Gone' Cover

Way before anything else I drew for Batman-Maxx, this Joker-Gone cover was the first piece I drew.

I've probably drawn better Joker faces elsewhere, but for whatever reason, people seem to really respond to this one.

New Maxx Cover - progress 3 & 4

3: That back and shoulder is still a little rough, so needs some blending there.

4: There - that's better.

Went a little nuts on the shoulder texture, and I forgot to darken the tree trunk from yellow to brown, but otherwise, I think this pretty much done.

New Maxx Cover - progress 1 & 2

. . this could almost be done right here. But I think I'll color it instead.

Tried some new textures for the shoulder blade and bicep. Not sure ifs really works, but we'll see where it goes.

'Sticky pads' keep the paint from spilling outside his body. Kinda crude looking so far.

I'll mess around with it some more then, post the finished version tomorrow.
