Maxx Cover 4, & Pencil Sketch

 Seems a lifetime ago when I did this. Obviously I had way more confidence and a sharper brush stroke about twenty years ago.

More Progress on Maxx Cover (Plus a Third Update today)

SECOND UPDATE: About five posts ago I started a new Maxx piece.   In this update on the left, I colored his body and hands using colored pencils and yellow markers . . .   

. . next on the right, I added a darker layer of watercolor to his whole figure.     

THIRD UPDATE  below~ !  Two More NEW Pics: Got inspired today and finished the legs. Also need to sign my name on the paper against the rock on the bottom. 

So weird to  go for so long critic dry spell between new posts, then it all spills out in just a few hours. 

Also gotta finish the spotted Outback creature standing on Maxx's back too.

Artistic Block

Been suffering from a creative block for the last few months, so was relieved to jump back in the water with this new piece I started inking yesterday.    

Hooly in the Outback

 Where-in I accidently discover two things: 1 Yellow and blue watercolors result in the color green.  2 Pastels don't necessarily mix well with watercolors.
