Maxx vs Outback Critter

Did this one after a prolonged creative drought.  Didn't make the cut for the 2022 Calendar.  Can't really explain why.

 If you look carefully you can see the 'white out' spots where I removed rain drops, which only made the page look too busy.

Loose Ends . . .

Old Wolves Cover I started and took a couple of process pics of.  Doubtful I'll ever finish it, much like the unfinished penciled Batman-Maxx  page I posted a while back. Above is the penciled Wolvie 'phone cord' version. 

 And here's the half inked version. 

I'm amazed I manage to finish off as many Maxx covers as I do, probably less pressure drawing my own character.
