Here's a curious one... years ago I remember doing a painting for a Fiji tape magazine ad. I've long since lost the printed art, lost track of the original art too. All I had was the layout with four different color choices. The idea was a venus fly trap snapping a butterfly:

After ten years of looking I gave up looking for it. Yesterday, poking around some old moldy bristol board, I came across a copy of the printed ad too! So here's what was printed, just for the hell of it. I bet few people even caught this one:

I've got a new accomplice in prod me into post once a week. The words are all mine, but anyone who can motivate my ass into a post is a friend indeed! Thanks HG.

Been scanning The Art Of Sam Kieth book this month and last, finally will have all the files to IDW by end of the year.... published sometime in early 2011. In case you missed it, here's the 'Three Stage of Sketchbooks'...

Amazing how much crap I've piled up over the years. We'll probably have to add a whole new chapter at the end, just to cover what's piled up SINCE we first announced! Blame my perfectionism for the delay, not IDW, okay?

Here's some more photos of the mess of pages on my studio floor. Okay, look for FUTURE updates Tuesday morning.
