Gasp! wowza I'm partial to the pink on the Dana page, also I really dig the angle photo somehow. Good luck with the move and be sure to wear shoes while moving heavy objects toes are our friends.
I always appreciate your versatility and range, Sam, as I can tell a lot of people do.
I don't know many other (or any?) artists who can handle (or really attempt) to balance super heroes (and when you do super heroes, they are like no one else's) and fine/abstract art the way that you do.
These are great (1908 is really fun). 6 is inspiring. When I paint I have to kinda force myself to give equal attention to the surroundings, which is awful to admit but it's true. Plant life can be so, well, lifeless--but those cattails are so delicate I feel like my mind keeps completing their movement in the wind seconds before and after the image is captured on the page. Really beautiful!
I got sensory over load from this post. The first painting is really incredible. Not to beat this to death but I ment do you ever want to write a book with your stories instead a comic to reach people that don't read comics but with the same content that you always write, I think people would really like your writing who might be afraid of comics. Don't forget to lift with your knee's when moving.
