If Maxx had continued past 35

Before Maxx ended, i had some horrible plans for later issues . . .

. . featuring Maxx with blonde hair. .

. . . and Julie morphing into a bimbo with clawed hands.

Good thing i stopped Maxx when i did, eh?

I wouldn't mind if it went on or was resurrected

Disagree, Sam. I love this. It would have been great.

Wow. I love this concept. Thanks for sharing. Please reconsider this story as a mini or something, I bet it would be better than you could ever imagine!

Yeah, you made the right decision to stop when you did. The art looks fine, but really the story ran as long as it needed to, maybe even a little too long. And I say this as a fan with almost all the single issues and graphic novels (trades).

I would be ok with a miniseries or something. It's just more surreal Maxx stuff that doesn't need to make complete sense! Looks great!

I've always enjoyed your work, and I would have enjoyed seeing this, too. :)

I'm thankful for all of your work. Love looking for your contributions to other stories like your amazing Batman etc. I love The Maxx most but am glad it's complete with an amazing animated and well voice acted miniseries that had a conclusion even more nicely tied up than the comics. I'm thankful too for even this tidbit and agree with you. Only you know whether your heart is in something and I'd prefer you listen to it and not continue or resurrect something you're just not that into, it'd suffer.

I think it looks pretty cool! Any Maxx is a good Maxx.

I'm gonna need you to shut your mouth.

It looks weird, and weird is awesome! Especially with you at the helm. I know you went to IDW, but it is the 25th anniversary of Image, so a special would be all kinds of cool. I mean, it's crazy to think Maxx is almost 25!

This looks awesome! Please reconsider the idea. A mini-series, even. Anything Maxx is better than no Maxx at all.

IT's so funny how polarizing a great work of fiction can be. just FYI to those out there that think "oh ok I'm gonna tell everybody what I think the artist should have done" NO ONE CARES what you think (I'm joking everyone has an opinion, but can't we just enjoy the art and leave the arm chair critic stuff for the dust bin?)

Great work as always!

We all dream in Kieth vision!

Would love a new Maxx series. Solo Sam on art duties. Fully painted panels/splashes so no colorist would be needed. You on story and dialogue. Or maybe Loebs. Alan Moore did one issue of Maxx, maybe he'd be down for more. Plus you probably have plenty of unpublished Maxx art laying around that can be used for covers. Also, can we ever expect a remaster of the animated series into an HD widescreen release?

Maxx looks like he's taken on a bit of the Jungle Queen's appearance, while, clearly, Julie has taken on a bit of Maxx's, while also turning more bubbly / bimbo-like. Please please please reconsider some new Maxx stories. Pretty pretty please?

A physical manifestation of the two's co-dependency?

That looks freaking awesome, actually.

I loved The Maxx, and honestly 31-35 have some of my favorite moments. I didn't mind that it strayed from the Maxx/Outback stuff. By that point I had accepted it as less "The Maxx" and more of a "Sam Kieth Presents" series. Your characters and stories always hit home for me in a way that few other artists do.
